Terms & data licence

Last updated 29 October 2026

1. Who we are

Daytabases (daytabases.com) is a trading name of GetYa Marketing Management FZCO, registration DSO-FZCO-39103, IFZA Business Park, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, UAE ("we", "us"), registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office under number ZC263749. You can reach us at support@daytabases.com.

These terms apply whenever you buy data from this website. We sell to businesses only — by ordering you confirm you are buying for a business, not as a consumer.

2. Credits, orders and payment

  • Data is priced in credits. One credit is one business record in a standard country; a record from a premium market uses 1.5 credits and a record from the United Kingdom uses 2.5 credits. The number of businesses, the credits they use and the price are shown before you pay.
  • Pay-as-you-go prices are per credit and depend on the size of your order, sliding smoothly from 15p down to 1.6p per credit as the order gets bigger. The minimum order is £5. Prices are charged in pounds sterling (GBP); any other currency shown is a guide only and your bank converts at its own rate. The price shown is the full price — no VAT or other charges are added.
  • Payment is taken by card through Stripe. Your order is accepted once payment is confirmed, and your file is delivered to your login straight away (large files can take a few minutes to build). We also email you when it's ready.
  • Records are chosen at random from everything matching your filters, split across the countries you chose in proportion to what's available. We never include a business you have already received from us on the same account.
  • If fewer records are available than you paid for, you'll receive every matching record and we'll refund the difference.

3. Your data licence

Each order comes with a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the data for 12 months from delivery, for your own business-to-business marketing and sales (telephone, email, post, advertising audiences and similar), as often as you like during that time. You may:

  • load the data into your own CRM, dialler, email or advertising platform;
  • let your own staff, and contractors working on your behalf, use it for your campaigns;
  • keep any record after the licence ends where that business has become your customer or has asked you to contact them.

You may not resell, rent, share or give away the data (in whole or part), publish it, use it to build a competing database, or use it for anything unlawful. When the licence ends you must stop using and delete the records you are not entitled to keep.

4. Using the data lawfully

Marketing rules differ from country to country. You are responsible for how you use the data and for following the data protection and marketing laws of every country you contact (for example the GDPR and ePrivacy rules in the EU, UK GDPR and PECR in the UK, CAN-SPAM and the TCPA in the United States, and CASL in Canada). To help, we leave out email addresses for countries where business email marketing needs prior consent, and telephone numbers where marketing calls need consent, and the website tells you when that applies. In particular:

  • Calls: every UK phone number is screened against the TPS and Corporate TPS before delivery (registered businesses are swapped for clean ones). Registrations change daily, so screen again if you call a UK number more than 28 days after it was checked. For other countries, check the do-not-call registers that apply there before you call, and keep your own do-not-call list.
  • Email: always say who you are, make your message relevant to the business, and give an easy way to opt out.
  • Opt-outs: honour every request not to be contacted promptly, and tell us if a business asks to be removed so we can suppress it.
  • Transparency: where you hold a named person's details (for example a decision maker), tell them where you got their details within one month, or at your first contact, where the law requires it.

5. Data quality

Our data is compiled from public business registers, maps and listings, businesses' own websites and social pages, and other lawful sources, and is checked and refreshed regularly. Businesses move and change, and the fields we hold vary by country and by business, so we can't promise every record is complete or accurate. If you find a significant number of faulty records, tell us within 14 days of delivery with examples and we'll look at it; where we agree records are faulty we'll replace them with new ones (or give the credits back, for members).

6. Cancellations and refunds

Because your file is delivered digitally and straight away, orders can't be cancelled once delivered. This doesn't affect section 2 (short deliveries) or section 5 (faulty records).

7. Liability

We are not liable for any loss of profit, business or opportunity, or for any indirect loss, arising from your use of the data. Our total liability for any order is limited to the price you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Membership

A Daytabases membership is a monthly subscription that gives you an allowance of credits to download each month. These terms apply to it, together with the rest of this page.

  • Credits: your plan's credits are available from the day you join and reset every month on that date. Unused credits don't roll over. Top-ups are paid for separately at your plan's rate and last until the end of that month.
  • Downloads: the credits for each download are taken off your allowance when you request it, and each download comes with the 12-month licence in section 3. You never receive the same business twice. If a download comes up short or can't be built, the credits go back on your allowance.
  • Your clients: you may use the data for your own marketing or to run campaigns for your own clients, provided they follow these terms. You may not resell or publish the data as a list — for example on a website, marketplace or data exchange — without our written agreement.
  • Payment: your plan is charged monthly in advance in GBP by card through Stripe. If a payment fails, downloads pause until it goes through. Upgrades take effect straight away and the difference is charged for the rest of that month; moving to a smaller plan takes effect at your next renewal.
  • Cancelling: there's no minimum term. Cancel any time from your login; your membership runs to the end of the month you've paid for and isn't refunded for part-months. We may end a membership straight away if these terms are broken.
  • Liability: for membership, our total liability in any month is limited to the membership fees you paid for that month.

9. General

We may update these terms; the version shown when you order applies to that order. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
